The Atlanta Journal Constitution says “This production is the supreme manifestation of every sugar-plum fantasy you could ever imagine…A slice of pure Americana!”
“The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a holiday tradition for millions of families across the country,” said Jonathan Hochwald, EVP Productions, MSG Entertainment. “We realize that not everyone can come to New York for Christmas, so we’ll bring Christmas to you.
Those who may have glowing memories of the famed New York production of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will be thrilled to see the energy and excitement of this holiday tradition as it returns to Atlanta. Famed dance numbers featured in this production include “The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and “The Living Nativity,” both of which have been performed in The Christmas Spectacular since it debuted in 1933. In addition to the traditional favorites, the stage will come alive with newer scenes that will amaze audiences including “The 12 Days of Christmas,” a sizzling Rockette tap number, and “Christmas in New York,” a high-kicking Rockette number direct from the stage of New York City. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular offers audiences non-stop excitement from the first notes of the overture until the curtain falls.
“We are delighted to partner with the Fabulous Fox Theatre to bring back this dazzling extravaganza cherished by audiences of all ages,” states Christopher B. Manos, Producer of Theater of the Stars. “If you have not seen this incredible show live, I encourage you to bring your family this year and experience the magic and the majesty of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world famous Rockettes!”
“The Fox Theatre is one of Atlanta’s favorite holiday traditions and we can’t think of a better way to kick off the season than with the amazing Radio City Christmas Spectacular,” said Allan C. Vella, General Manager of the Fox Theatre. “This production is made for the Fox since it takes full advantage of our wonderful historic theatre.”
